The food is amazingly tasty and well presented and extremely good value. Good beer on tap too.

A little out of the way but well worth the effort. We had Sunday lunch and it was excellent. From the friendly atmosphere and welcome we could tell this was a winner.The food was superb. We had different starters, both of which were lovely. We then had the beef which was excellent quality and cooked to perfection and served with plenty of nicely cooked veg. For dessert we had the bread and butter pudding and a cheese board and again these were excellent. This was all served by friendly helpful staff.Top this off with very nice house wines and well kept beer and you have a very very pleasant dining experience.

We had a really super meal at the Crown Inn. Great service and atmosphere, we hadn't booked but luckily a table was available. It filled up very quickly at lunchtime. Would definitely recommend and we will return. Lovely walks after lunch too sugar loaf, old churches. Great day.
