Beer not great. Some staff pleasant some not so much. In my view a pub for the summer where you can sit outside
Decent food, good prices and good service. Very basic pub decor.
Can't fault the food fantastic every time. hidden little gem up the ally way I only found it by chance but every time I'm in town always have meal here ,nothing a problem everything cooked fresh and quick even good beer on tap
Come here quite often when we are in Abergavenny. Excellent old style town pub. Very dog friendly. Had a lovely meal with family last night. Friendly and very helpful staff.
Last minute dinner choice whilst on a little weekend away. The staff and food absolutely wonderful. Lovely home cooked food. Served by the friendliest staff I have met for a long time. One missing star solely down to the decor. A poor reason I know but only dropped in the hope management see these reviews and invest in the property as I truly believe this is a real gem in Abergavenny.
