Cafe serving hot food. Toilets. Ticket machine. Departure boards. Parking is horrendous and it is a fair old walk to town but Taxis outside to help with that. ticket office. If you have mobility issues then u can only reach platform 2 with assistance from staff. If you want 2 cross back then u would have 2 physically send someone to office as no way to call from platform 2.

The cafe at the station is great: friendly staff and good quality snacks and drinks. Staff at the ticket counter are really helpful and professional. Parking is very limited and in short supply. Particularly if arriving after peak time, it might be difficult to find a parking space. There are often taxis waiting at the rank.
Cozy little station with sheltered waiting area on BOTH platforms. Northbound platform has a cafe with a very friendly proprietor who's always interested in talking to you/making you feel welcome.I'm going to counter the guy who said 'no step-free access to southbound platform' and say there is. If you ask at the ticket office, they open the gate and actually HELP you across. So yes, good service.
