Taken out for Dinner as a special treat by my Daughter and Son in law. And what a fab evening the food was beautiful all three courses wine amazing service waitresses were so pleasant. Can't wait to go again.
Great food. Restaurant was quite quiet but staff were attentive and helpful. Steak for main course and Salted caramel Mouse for dessert.
In what looks like an ordinary enough pub, lies extraordinary food. It does come at a price, but worth it for the care and attention given to both the ever changing menu and the attentive service. The home-made ice creams (which come in a variety of mouth watering flavours) are a particular favourite of my family.
Been wanting to visit for years. Finally went today and a bit underwhelmed, nice place, great staff but food just ok which came as huge shock. Beautiful presentation, dishes sounded amazing but tasted quite ordinary. The homemade ice cream was the star.
The Hardwick is a really relaxing place to stay and eat. The staff were very welcoming, the service excellent, and the food was generous and delicious. We also stayed overnight and the room was comfortable, well equipped and cosy. All in all, a great place to eat and to stay!
