Little gem set in the ruins of Abergavenny Castle with local history and second world War Anderson shelter, featuring bombing alert siren. The sound continues to give you the feel of an air raid, then the "all clear"
Friendly welcome, even though we were late entry. Free entry. Interesting exhibits covering local history right through the ages, one room currently being redesigned. Will go back.
Lovely place to visit the museum has some fascinating displays and gardens are greatfor picnic.
Nice place, wish they had clearly advertised that it is closed on Wednesdays. The castle is open and is nice to look around but it would have been nice to look in the museum, had we known we would have visited another time. Having said that I will certainly be interested in visiting again and hopefully will be able to look in the museum next time
Nice little free museum. Don't park in the pay and display, just park up at the museum. The ruins are pretty cool. The views are nice, a clear day would be best so you can look around the countryside surrounding the place. Nice little garden as well. I'd go back
