Cannot say enough good things about this SURG. has been absolutely fabulous. staff, nurses and GPs are wonderful kind people. wish all SURG. were at this high of a standard.
Disappointed in the service they gave my partner today. The nurse (Alison) that dealt with my partner just disregarded and shrugged off all of the issues she had and left her in tears after her appointment this is unacceptable and very unprofessional I will be ring in to make a formal complaint!
Very difficult to get past the receptionists here and actually get an appointment within a reasonable time frame. Very unsupportive staff (bordering on arrogant).Everytime I've needed to see a doctor here I've remained polite and courteous to the receptionists, however, little empathy is shown by any of the ladies who work here, as they don't really seem interested in helping at all. More than once they have been very dismissive towards myself, not offering me any alternatives.I've seen them really trying to help certain "favourites" so I guess it depends on who you are. "Favouritism" appears to be the order of the day here as to how you are treated and spoken to. When sitting in the waiting area I've also clearly heard other patients who are not present being discussed. Not very professional !Not a very pleasant atmosphere and some really awful staff !Edit: when booking an appointment would the receptionists please stop asking me the reasons why I need to see a doctor? Firstly I do not wish to discuss my health issues with somebody who is not medically trained and secondly I do not wish to discuss the above on an unsecured line. I've challenged the practice manager about this and have been told that it's so they can make sure I see the correct person ! ABSOLUTE RUBBISH. It doesn't have any influence on who you see at all.You get the appointment you're given regardless.
superb practice with doctors who are caring and efficient
Unsupportive staff. They let me down with my health for quite a few years. Yet they refused to admit any mistakes had been made. I moved to Old Station Road and it's a breath of fresh air. Kind and competent doctors, unlike Todor Gate. The practice manager refuses to take complaints seriously. Not recommended!
