I have my Sunday lunch most weeks either by myself or with friends. I go because not only is the food fantastic but Anne and her family are some of the friendliest people going. The roast beef, pork and turkey are always tender and l certainly have more than my 5 a day with the array of vegetables. I would recommend The Rising Sun and do to all. Both for adults and children alike as the children have a safe place to play after lunch on the swings or to play ball. Also it is wheelchair friendly.

Nice facilities for camping. The staff went out of their way to make us meal late at night because we had been walking all day. Would recommend.
The landlord/campsite boss was great. He went of his way to ensure that I (both camper and drinker) was looked after.The pub had a range of well-looked after beers. The campsite was very clean and organised. The showers were fab.I'd recommend both pub and campsite to anyone.
